Focused Lab Recap: First Lab at Arthrex Colorado Springs
Arthrex Colorado Springs is proud to have hosted its first medical education opportunity in our new state-of-the-art lab. The event went flawlessly, bringing together our team and a local surgeon from our community for a hands-on experience that showcased both the capabilities of our facility and Arthrex’s latest advancements in rotator cuff repair techniques.
The session featured the PanoScope, providing enhanced visualization that allowed for precise instruction and real-time discussion of surgical technique. Participants then moved into a double knotless FiberTak repair for the subscapularis, demonstrating the efficiency, reproducibility, and strength of this approach. The program continued with a rotator cuff repair utilizing FiberTak RC anchors and self-punching SwiveLock devices, highlighting a streamlined workflow designed to reduce surgical steps while maintaining reliable fixation.
This lab also provided an educational opportunity for a local surgeon to perfect his skills prior to an upcoming rotator cuff repair procedure. Following the training, the surgeon went on to perform a successful surgery using the techniques practiced in our lab — a direct example of how education translates into better outcomes for patients. This supports our mission of simply, “Helping surgeons treat their patients better.”
The seamless execution of this inaugural lab reflects the dedication of our team and the thoughtful design of the facility itself — built to replicate real-world surgical conditions and support advanced education. This experience underscored what makes Arthrex Colorado Springs unique: a relentless focus on innovation, empowering surgeons through education, and uniting as one team with one mission — to help treat patients better.
