Focused Lab Recap: Advanced ACL and Trauma Techniques with local healthcare professionals
Arthrex Colorado Springs recently hosted two local healthcare professionals for a focused educational lab, combining advanced ACL reconstruction techniques with a comprehensive review of Arthrex trauma solutions. This hands-on session allowed both surgeons to refine their skills and explore the latest innovations across multiple subspecialties.
ACL Reconstruction Innovations
The lab began with a detailed look at ACL tunnel preparation using the Transportal ACL Guide and Low Profile Reamers. These tools provide precision and efficiency in tunnel placement, supporting reproducible outcomes in ACL reconstruction.
The session also included training on SutureLoc for meniscal root repair, offering surgeons a streamlined, anatomic fixation method designed to restore meniscal function and joint biomechanics.
Trauma and Fracture Management
In addition to knee procedures, local healthcare professionals demoed multiple Arthrex trauma trays and implants, including:
Mini CFS and Mini Trauma Frag systems
FibuLock for ankle fracture fixation
Headless Compression Screws for fracture management
Each system was selected for its surgical applications, instrumentation design, and ability to streamline workflow in the OR.
Commitment to Surgical Excellence
This one-on-one training reinforced Arthrex’s mission to support surgeons with tailored education across the breadth of orthopedics. By engaging directly with both ACL reconstruction and trauma solutions, local healthcare professionals gained hands-on experience that will translate directly into improved surgical performance and patient outcomes.
